Girls’ Day Out at Delta College

SCAN Michigan is proud to be a part of Delta College’s Girls Day Out on Friday, November 7. Over 900 middle school age girls from the across Midland-Bay City-Saginaw region will visit campus for a day of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) activities. The program will feature hands-on experiences designed to encourage young women to explore STEM careers in a fun and engaging way.
Our team will lead an activity on building microchips with cookies. By adding yummy toppings, girls will learn the various components of what it takes to build a microchip. Warning: These microchips are edible!
