Meet the Ohio Team

Megan Wagner

Program Manager, Career & Industry Awareness

Megan Wagner joined the SEMI Foundation in October 2024 as a Program Manager, Career and Industry Awareness for Ohio.

Megan leads efforts to identify opportunities for SEMI programs and partnerships in Ohio, coordinates and presents at industry outreach events with schools, employers, and partners, and supports apprenticeship and training programs in the state. She will also contribute to our national industry outreach strategy.

Previously, Megan was the Senior Director of Client Experience at TPMA, where she managed workforce development projects for clients like the PA Department of Labor and Industry, Jobs Ohio, and The Manufacturing Institute. She brings a wealth of experience in strategic planning and consensus building, particularly with underserved communities. Megan is also an active member of Jack and Jill of America, Inc., and enjoys spending time with her daughter, Giada.

Mike Glavin

Program Director, Workforce Development

Mike Glavin joined the SEMI Foundation as Program Director, Workforce Development in September 2024.

Mike serves on the leadership team of the SEMI Foundation to both drive the further strategic development of world-class workforce development initiatives across SEMI’s U.S. and Europe regions, and work to continue the industry’s shift toward a more comprehensive talent pool. Specifically, this means expanding and strengthening industry image and awareness, leading the expansion of Registered Apprenticeships, and growing SEMI Foundation’s position as a strategic partner for member companies seeking to attract, hire, train and retain a larger and better skilled workforce.

Before joining SEMI, Mike served as the Vice President of Talent for the Greater Cleveland Partnership, Northeast Ohio’s economic development organization and the nation’s largest regional chamber of commerce. In this role, Mike led a portfolio of workforce initiatives that included a DOL-funded Registered Apprenticeship Hub, high school career awareness and exploration and a region-wide internship strategy.

In his spare time, Mike can be found traveling with his wife and two children, shuttling to various youth sports activities, cooking, or obsessing over Star Wars (in a totally normal way). Mike also enjoys live music and Legos.
